GRAIL WATCH 4: ALAIN SILBERSTEIN × BELL & ROSS TRILOGY BOX SET

$16,700.00 USD
The latest Grail Watch is not, in fact, one watch. It's a trilogy. Three watches that tell a story about shared passions, people and above all, the essence of design. It marks our second collaboration with Alain Silberstein and, this time, we've teamed up with Bell & Ross. While Silberstein's colorful designs and the utilitarian stylings of Bell & Ross' signature square might initially seem to be from different worlds, one thing unites them. The clarity and integrity of Bell & Ross designer Bruno Belamich's aviation-inspired square — especially in this black ceramic case — is the perfect counterpoint to Silberstein's distinctive design language. These two singular designers, working in harmony, have created something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
The trilogy consists of three models, all based on the BR 03-92. Klub 22 is a time-only piece, Krono 22 is, unsurprisingly, a chronograph, while Marine 22 is, at its heart, a diver. Each 42mm model comes with its own surprises. The diver is the first ever use of Silberstein's 'maxi' hands, made for maximum legibility. Klub 22 sees the hands transform into functional geometric shapes, while the seconds hand on the Krono 22 is the largest Bell & Ross have ever fitted onto a chronograph.
Each watch will be made in numbered examples, with the first 50 of each being sold as an exclusive boxed set.

Color and Shape

It's easy to tell when Alain Silberstein has been involved in a watch design — his bold primary colors and distinctive geometric forms are unmissable, and that's exactly the case here. Even the crown features a red lacquered triangle.

Black Ceramic

The 42mm black ceramic serves as the perfect canvas for this collaboration. Not only is it pure of line, it is also the first time Silberstein has had the opportunity to create a ceramic watch.

Up All Night

The bright tones of this watch don't fade when the sun goes down — the luminous material is applied in white, blue and yellow shades ensuring the party doesn't stop.

Form and Function

Bell & Ross built its reputation on tough, no-nonsense watches, and the trilogy is no exception. The ceramic case is rated to 100 meters, is powered by the automatic BR.CAL-302 and comes with both a black rubber strap and an additional fabric option.
