A Work of Art
While Van Gogh worked in oils and Stefan Kudoke works in metal, the artistry and skill of both are undeniable. The dial of this watch pays homage too and is inspired by Starry Night, with a twisted guilloché pattern painted in a translucent blue, inspired by the famous painting.
Become the Night
The artistic inspiration of this Kudoke 2 extends even into the evening, and the luminous materials on the watch. Bright green has been used on the hour and minute hands, blue for the moon, stars and 24-hour ring and white for the outer hour ring. Even at night, this watch is pretty as a picture and framed with light.
A Curious Case
Even the 39mm case of this Kudoke 2 honors the legacy of Van Gogh’s famous nocturnal scene, as the classical design has been released in a surprisingly non-classical manner. Made from grade 5 titanium and treated to give the typically grey metal a vivid blue hue, this case is made to stand out.
A Beautiful Bridge
The rear of the watch affords a view of the stunning Kaliber 1, an exceptionally finished manually winding movement with a three-quarter plate and prominent balance bridge that results in a movement that is visually distinctive and dynamic.
