Grail Watch 4: Bell & Ross x Alain Silberstein Black Ceramic Trilogy "MARINE 22"

$7,900.00
The latest Grail Watch is not, in fact, one watch. It's a trilogy. Three watches that tella story about shared passions, people and above all, the essence of design. Itmarks our second collaboration with Alain Silberstein and, this time, we've teamed up with Bell & Ross.
Marine 22 is perhaps the most daring expression and extension of Silberstein’s vision. It retains the clear expression of the designers’ creative vision while alsoworking as a functional, submersible timepiece. This is evident in the two-tone ceramic bezel, which sees the last 20 minutes of the insert colored red and featuring a full set of 20-minute markers with luminous indexes. On top of that, it is the debut of a completely new handset, dubbed the ‘Maxi’ hands, an oversized take on Silberstein’s classic shapes that offer plenty of surface area for luminous material and ensure maximum legibility.
This diver is rated to 300 meters, features a screw-down crown and is caliber BR.CAL-302. It will be produced in 100 examples.
* Please note that Grail Watch 4 will be delivered in mid January 2023.

Dive into Color

It's easy to tell when Alain Silberstein has been involved in a watch design — his bold primary colors and distinctive geometric forms are unmissable, and that's exactly the case here. The one-piece ceramic bezel features a red section for the critical 20-minute countdown.

A First in Ceramic

The 42mm black ceramic serves as the perfect canvas for this collaboration. Not only is it pure of line, it is also the first time Silberstein has had the opportunity to create a ceramic watch.

Maximum Visibility

Legibility is of crucial importance on a dive watch, and the Marine 22 proves this point in style, thanks to the 'Maxi' handset, where the hour hand features a giant luminous marker that emits a blue glow to match that of the oversized red minute hand, while the seconds glows yellow.

Form and Function

Bell & Ross built its reputation on tough, no-nonsense watches, and the Marine 22 is no exception. The sturdy ceramic case is rated to 300 meters, is powered by the
automatic BR.CAL-302 with 42 hours of power reserve and comes with both a black rubber strap and an additional fabric option.
