Grail Watch 7: Angelus x Alain Silberstein U11 Streamline Tourbillon

$74,500.00 USD
For Grail Watch 7, Angelus and Alain Silberstein join hands with us to present the emotionally expressive U11 Streamline Tourbillon. Combining the stunning signatures of both, the collaboration comes in a limited edition of just 8 pieces, four with traditional indexes and four with Eastern Arabic markers. (The latter will be released at a later date.)
If the architecture of the U11 Streamline Tourbillon’s movement seems familiar, that’s because it is derived from that of the famous Angelus U10 Tourbillon Lumière, which was groundbreaking from both an aesthetic and technical perspective. Grail Watch 7: Angelus x Alain Silberstein U11 Streamline Tourbillon takes inspiration from it, only it is now pared back for an even more sleek modern aesthetic, one that has also made it immeasurably more wearable. The seemingly detached flying tourbillon remains, only now it is flipped on the opposite side so that it lays discreet beneath a sleeve if you so desire, although why would you want to? This means that telling time is a breeze compared to its predecessor, as the dial now sits on the right. Its minimalist case that looked almost as if it were shaped by aerodynamics. The dial, meanwhile, is reduced to the sole essential function of telling time, rendered in signature Silberstein colours.
No question about it, Grail Watch 7: Angelus x Alain Silberstein U11 Streamline Tourbillon is more thought-provoking kinetic sculpture than mere watch.
*Please note that Grail Watch 7 will be shipped by end April 2023.

Streamlined & Sleek

As its name suggests, Grail Watch 7: Angelus x Alain Silberstein U11 Streamline Tourbillon is a lean, mean and very sexy machine with its brushed grade 5 titanium case that's mirror-polished at its bevel. At 14.3mm thick, it is still thinner than many sports chronographs.

Now You See It, Now You Don't

Inspired by the Angelus U10 Tourbillon Lumière, with a very important design tweak. The flying tourbillon now lies on the left and sits discreet under the shirt sleeve, until it is showed off in its full spinning glory.

Silberstein Signature

The trademark Silberstein colours and motifs take centerstage on the dial, here carefully pared back and aligned with the minimalist approach that has done away with the indications or complications that he felt were not critical, such as the power reserve indicator and the dead seconds mechanism.

A Powerful Beat

Grail Watch 7: Angelus x Alain Silberstein U11 Streamline Tourbillon is powered by the same manual winding caliber A100 beat that's behind the groundbreaking Angelus U10 Tourbillon Lumière, with 90 hours of power reserve.
